Hey absolutely mind blowing work on the engine guys. I am amazed by what you guys have already achieved in realtime. I’ve got two quick questions if you don’t mind, the first of which is probably a stupid question.. But do you think this kind of stuff (the realtime weather simulations, lighting etc.) would be possible on ps4 to the same level of fidelity as on pc?, or do you think it would be toned down due to hardware constraints, or even possible at all?
Second question, have you guys considered implementing full Oculus Rift support for this because that would be simply amazing!
Will it be open-source ? If you make a crowdsourcing campaign for making it open-source, I’m sure there’ll be a tremendous amount of donations.
We have Blender for 3D, Gimp for 2D, LibreOffice for documents, Wikipedia for knowledge,… but for Game Engines… nothing serious at all.
If you go commercial, competing with Unity,UE or CryEngine will be extremely hard, but whatever your choice is, I wish you guys all the best for your project, it looks awesome .

Hey and thanks. The PS4 looks to be a capable machine so I would imagine it would be possible to achieve similar stuff on it.
Oculus Rift is something we’re really interested in also, we’ll have to see about that

Well i must say not open-source but a mod tool would be nice however it doesn’t matter for me …the thing for now is to make the game first

This is a difficult matter, which we have undecided on. We are not really looking to go into the engine market.
