It was a cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen.

This would be the start to 1984, but it was the start to a great day because RESET GAMEPLAY WAS RELEASED!

Nice one guys. Can’t wait to see what happens next week :)

Does the Praxis engine support HDR/Deep color/wide color gamut output? Your game world seems like it would really look awesome with HDR. A lot of the new TVs and monitors of the past couple years have support for HDR 10-bit.

Quoted this from the video’s YouTube description:
“Praxis is our proprietary tech utilizing Nvidia Physx and Waveworks from the GameWorks SDK.”

So, an honest question to Theory Interactive, does this mean that people with AMD’s Radeon graphics cards can only expect less than optimal results when playing RESET?

Do you have any plan to support DX12 or Vulkan?

Do you have any plan to optimize this game for AMD’s Ryzen CPU?

  1. looks amazing
    shall never surrender

Looks great and I can’t wait to play it!
However, the issue with severe aliasing, especially specular aliasing still remains. I sincerely hope that you guys will look into some sort of temporal AA (a-la UE4) post-release.
