In Theory… We’re Back!

After taking a break for exactly 100 days we dusted our keyboards and fired up the Theory engines again today. And boy does it feel good!

We’re picking up where we left off, crunching the gameplay reveal stuff together. Once we clear all the boring but mandatory paperwork out of the way first  :P :D

So, coolness is on it’s way again! Stay tuned!

    Yay!

Soo… when can we expect to see gameplay? :D

    • Working on it, still not up to full speed yet. A non-informed sewer maintenance started at our office a day after we got back. Still not habitable :/

  3. Stop playing with my emotions.

  4. Very exciting. Looking forward to the next update!

Great to see you’re back, we’re ready for more coolness. Nothing wrong with taking a break!

    • Nope, sometimes breaks are needed. Especially when there are small kids involved :)

So, congrats on your return! I had fully expected your previous announcement to be your last – to the point of when I compulsively checked your URL every day, I always expected to find no new updates. This announcement of your returns is encouraging and invigorating to all fans of indie game developers!

BTW, congrats on your newly-engaged parenthood!

Mainiota! Keep up the good work guys!

Have you guys considered bringing this game to The PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One once the PC version is completed? Also, have you ever thought about using crowdfunding to hire more people?

    • Yes we’ve considered it, and still are. We’d like to, but first and foremost the PC is our platform. We’ll have to see after the PC release.

Yes, crowdfunding is on it’s way :)

First and foremost, congratulations on your new addition! As a dad myself, I know how much time they demand and deserve.

Secondly, although I’m late to the Reset party, I have to say this is simply the most wonderful, stunning, disturbing, beautiful thing I have seen in the world of gaming in my life. I will certainly be buying this! I must also admit that I am hopeful that you might (as you hinted a while ago) release Praxis in some form to an eager public. I urge you to do so; I’m sure there are hundreds, even thousands who would love to develop something on this awesome tech!

Looking forward to your next update. Take your time, guys. This is worth the wait!

    • Thanks, double trouble now. :)

You sir, have the kindest words. As for Praxis, we are unsure if we will be pushing it to be released to the public. So far we have been developing it to facilitate the needs of Reset. In order for it to be used for anything else would demand a significant amount of development. At this point we simply don’t have the manpower/time to do so.

What else can I say but WOW.
I want to buy the game.
    Thanks

    • Soon you will be able to, sir. Not long now, crowdfunding campaign is scheduled to start October 28th.

I was watching Frostbite 3 and new Cryengine demos and it reminded me about this project. I guess it’s clear why :P good luck guys, it’s good to know that this standard of rendering engine is not reserved for Crytec
