In Theory… II

What a week! We are completely and utterly taken by the feedback we’ve got from all of you guys. Over half a million views on different sites and just over 400K views on YouTube alone in one week! It’s beyond anything we hoped for, it’s bloody ridiculous. Like @TriniBoyD pointed out on twitter “All eyes on you guys now #nopressure”

Well, we are not pressured but 110% committed to finishing what we have started. It wasn’t a question before but seeing so many like-minded people out there gives us strength beyond strength. Seems that many of you are also throwing money at the screen, so we’re looking into crowdfunding to possibly materialize the game sooner rather than later.

And now that the smoke has started to settle there is still a lot of work to be done, so we best get to it. Till next week.

As much as I can tell from what I’ve seen in that magnificent trailer: I want more of such games! Down with all medieval fantasy crap, I can’t take it anymore! I want see more positive and good futuristic games! I really looking forward to see the future as relief and not as threat!

I would gladly pay to play with the alpha version !!

  3. Guys, this is crazy awesome.
I hope you’ll manage to reach the Walhalla with nobody to limitate your creativity and awesomeness.
Please achieve it, and do it well.
    We’ll be patient.

One question : will you continue to work the both of you two? Or will you ask any help for production and concept?

Good luck and respect by the way :)

    • Thanks! For now it’s just two of us, but we’ll see if we get some crowdfunding going in the near future.

  4. I’m not sure what stunned me the most, the trailer or the fact that this is produced entirely by only two genius people.

As eruul2012 said: alpha pre-purchase would be awesome :)

I really hope you release your engine, you could make a lot of money, and a lot of indies happy if you sold it for an affordable amount so other indies could use it.

    • Not planning to licence at this stage, it’s really tailored to our needs. But we’ll see where things evolve.

No, don’t do it faster…. take your time. you’re not EA, Activision, Ubisoft, or any other big games developer, you’re not working to a super tight deadline. release your product when it is ready. Please.
Do it for the PC guys :)

I agree! … long as it doesn’t turn into another Duke Nukem Forever. :D

Amazing stuff so far! Can I ask how long it’s been in development?

I think it’s interesting how powerful the soundtrack of a game really is. The trailer of Reset is very much fuelled by the emotions portrayed by the music, despite the fact that it didn’t teach me much about the game. I didn’t even know what genre it was, but yet it didn’t matter. I knew I would like this game from the trailer alone.

That’s what games lack these days, I think. Well done for achieving it. I certainly will be buying the soundtrack as well!
